How long should I drink water to lose some weight?
ok so i am 5 ft 3 1/2 inches tall and i weigh 140 pounds! i really really want to lose at LEAST 20 pounds i have read in many online articles that drinking water half the amount of your body weight helps with losing weight because it speeds up your metabolism and helps clean out toxins and such and people have said that it really works, so i was wondering that if i drink 70 ounzes of water every day, how long would it take before i see some results? and i lower my calorie intake and exercise 3-4 times a week for half an hour
just dont eat sugar.
fruits are ok, but any processed/pre-packaged snack foods or whatever…. no.
you get enough sugar in your normal diet without them ![]()
the body actually does better with natural fats than sugars.
140 pounds is like…… 63kg yeah? (im australian) and 20 pounds is around 9-10kg?
and 5 ft 3 is like 161cm. im guessing
dudeeeeeee, that isnt fat. at all. youve become victim to the media and modern society. if youre losing weight for the sake of it, be careful. if its for fitness, you wont have to work very hard to get fit as youre not big or anything.
drink green tea too- that will help. dont overdo it because you will get sick like my best friend… not super skinny sick, but body going into shutdown mode sick.
excercise in the morning before breakfast because it will speed up your metabolism
vary the exercise so you dont do the same thing all the time; a really good thing to do is go to the gym and use the ergos (rowing machines)…. if you know the correct technique. and if you use those dont go like 40 strokes a second or above, its just training so around 25-39. and make sure its at the correct strength. if you go too fast, your technique will screw up and it could hurt you
do the water thing
and eat foods as close to their natural state as possible
and lean meats.
oh yeah, and diets arent sustainable…. those stories about going off a diet and putting on a stack of weight? they are true.
a good diet is pretty much a lifelong thing.
