achieving strength and speed – free weights?
hi.
does anyone have any information on using free weights to achieve strength and speed.
i remember reading somewhere bruce lee used a combination of weights to build strength while keeping speed.
can anyone enlighten me more on this?
i think he used light, then medium, then heavy, then medium, then light or something.
does anyone know what the exact weights where/are and what exercises he or you do?

why does everyone have this mis conception that training with weights will slow you down??? just think about it…. you move around using your muscles so it would be fair to say that if you train them they will become stronger and faster
wat you need to do is use a good weight which you can do 8-12 reps with and use them in an explosive manner…. ie: as fast as you can with good form
